I am a paralegal with over 35 years of law firm experience. Along with Nick Horrigan, I manage the commercial collections practice at Harpst Becker. Each year, we collect millions of dollars for our clients who have exhausted all other efforts to collect past due accounts. I also partner with paralegals and attorneys in 15 other states who mutually represent our clients who operate businesses outside of Ohio to facilitate the process of filing collection actions, mechanic’s liens and lien enforcement suits. In addition, I draft various pleadings and settlement agreements, helping to negotiate payment plans to achieve favorable outcomes for both our client and the debtor. In situations where a case cannot be resolved by agreement, I draft the pleadings and follow through with the post-judgment collection procedures after the initial complaint has been filed. Regardless of circumstance, I go the extra mile to achieve positive results for our clients and act with integrity in dealing with their customers.
