I am a business lawyer who provides practical legal guidance to business owners and companies on business transactions, employment matters, and the legal needs that arise in day-to-day operations. I work with businesses at every stage of the business lifecycle, from start-ups to mature, established companies. My practice includes mergers and acquisitions, business ownership matters, commercial contracts, and employment law, as well as real estate transactions and brand protection. Before joining Harpst Becker LLC, I spent eight years as an in-house attorney and Human Resources Director and four years running my own law firm. My experience in business management and human resources gives me an understanding of the challenges business owners and managers face each day. I work in partnership with my clients to develop practical legal strategies that support their business objectives while addressing the legal issues that arise along the way.

I work with businesses across a range of industries, including construction, lumber and building materials, consumer products, restaurants, and healthcare services. My background also includes advising companies in the United States and abroad on FDA and FTC compliance, particularly advertising, marketing, and product regulation involving dietary supplements, food and beverages, and cosmetics.
